Associate

Kandi Beggs-Calder, Associate at Possibility Seeds

Kandi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently completing her MSW degree at Wilfrid Laurier University. With a background based in harm reduction and community-based support work, her experience supporting folks navigating substance use, mental health challenges, housing instability, and other forms of systemic disadvantages, has fueled her desire to help create more equitable systems of care.

Kandi is passionate about advocating for marginalized communities, especially women, people who use drugs, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ individuals. She values building meaningful connections, and supporting folks to develop their own sense of autonomy, access resources, and create fulfilling lives on their own terms.

Outside of work, Kandi loves spending intentional quality time with family and friends, playing guitar, cooking, and immersing herself in film.
